Here at Obi Kinomi, we are big fans of easy relaxed style, good clean design, luxe quality materials, uniquely produced textiles, and quality output on our production.
Naturally drawn to colour, print and pattern - we began producing our textiles using a tie-dyeing process, which soon evolved into applying the traditional Batik hand-dyeing technique of our Balinese artisans.
In listening to our customers, we wanted to provide an even better quality and more consistent product, so we set out to adopt new processes to help better bring that vision to life.
Now, our next edition of textiles have been digitally printed, using eco-friendly and non-toxic inks, and have longevity in colour vibrance, and offers greater depth in overall colour application too.
Our textile designs have been based on our tie and Batik dye effects, to continue on our original colouring methods in a new form. Please be mindful that each bag will also give off a different pattern appearance to the next, simply due to the scale of the pattern printed across the length of fabric.
We are committed to always using great quality materials, our team we work with is ethical and fair accredited, and we will continually work towards processes that are more sustainable, and better for our customers and the environment.
Our new edition wares come to you with even better wearability. The outer canvas textile is a poly/cotton blend, allowing for most dirt and dust particles to simply brush off the fabric, without absorbing into the fibre. Liquid spills can easily be wiped away with a cloth - spot-cleaning is recommended if you prefer to give a more thorough clean.
Please take care to ensure the longevity of your Obi Kinomi product, by avoiding marking or scuffing leather and metal hardware areas.
Do not use bleach on any part of your product under any circumstance. Please use natural cleaning solutions which are also specific to either: textile, leather or metal hardware, for a longer lasting product.
We hope you love using your Obi Kinomi goods.
